Overview

Certificate Authority API

The Certificate Authority Service API is a highly-available, scalable service that enables you to simplify and automate the management of private certificate authorities (CAs) while staying in control of your private keys.

Examples:

require 'google/apis/privateca_v1'

Privateca = Google::Apis::PrivatecaV1 # Alias the module
service = Privateca::CertificateAuthorityServiceService.new

#cancel_operation(name, cancel_operation_request_object = nil, fields: nil, quota_user: nil, options: nil) {|result, err| ... } ⇒ Google::Apis::PrivatecaV1::Empty

Starts asynchronous cancellation on a long-running operation. The server makes a best effort to cancel the operation, but success is not guaranteed. If the server doesn't support this method, it returns google.rpc.Code.UNIMPLEMENTED. Clients can use Operations.GetOperation or other methods to check whether the cancellation succeeded or whether the operation completed despite cancellation. On successful cancellation, the operation is not deleted; instead, it becomes an operation with an Operation.error value with a google.rpc.Status.code of 1 , corresponding to Code.CANCELLED.

Parameters:

  • name (String)

    The name of the operation resource to be cancelled.

  • cancel_operation_request_object (Google::Apis::PrivatecaV1::CancelOperationRequest) (defaults to: nil)
  • fields (String) (defaults to: nil)

    Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial response.

  • quota_user (String) (defaults to: nil)

Create a CaPool.

Parameters:

  • parent (String)

    Required. The resource name of the location associated with the CaPool, in the format projects/*/locations/*.

  • ca_pool_object (Google::Apis::PrivatecaV1::CaPool) (defaults to: nil)
  • ca_pool_id (String) (defaults to: nil)

    Required. It must be unique within a location and match the regular expression [a-zA-Z0-9_-]1,63``

  • request_id (String) (defaults to: nil)

    Optional. An ID to identify requests. Specify a unique request ID so that if you must retry your request, the server will know to ignore the request if it has already been completed. The server will guarantee that for at least 60 minutes since the first request. For example, consider a situation where you make an initial request and the request times out. If you make the request again with the same request ID, the server can check if original operation with the same request ID was received, and if so, will ignore the second request. This prevents clients from accidentally creating duplicate commitments. The request ID must be a valid UUID with the exception that zero UUID is not supported (00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000).

Create a new Certificate in a given Project, Location from a particular CaPool.

Parameters:

  • parent (String)

    Required. The resource name of the CaPool associated with the Certificate, in the format projects/*/locations/*/caPools/*.

  • certificate_object (Google::Apis::PrivatecaV1::Certificate) (defaults to: nil)
  • certificate_id (String) (defaults to: nil)

    Optional. It must be unique within a location and match the regular expression [a-zA-Z0-9_-]1,63``. This field is required when using a CertificateAuthority in the Enterprise CertificateAuthority.tier, but is optional and its value is ignored otherwise.

  • issuing_certificate_authority_id (String) (defaults to: nil)

    Optional. The resource ID of the CertificateAuthority that should issue the certificate. This optional field will ignore the load-balancing scheme of the Pool and directly issue the certificate from the CA with the specified ID, contained in the same CaPool referenced by parent. Per-CA quota rules apply. If left empty, a CertificateAuthority will be chosen from the CaPool by the service. For example, to issue a Certificate from a Certificate Authority with resource name "projects/my-project/locations/us-central1/caPools/my-pool/ certificateAuthorities/my-ca", you can set the parent to "projects/my-project/ locations/us-central1/caPools/my-pool" and the issuing_certificate_authority_id to "my-ca".

  • validate_only (Boolean) (defaults to: nil)

    Optional. If this is true, no Certificate resource will be persisted regardless of the CaPool's tier, and the returned Certificate will not contain the pem_certificate field.

  • fields (String) (defaults to: nil)

    Selector specifying which fields to include in a partial response.

  • quota_user (String) (defaults to: nil)

    Available to use for quota purposes for server-side applications. Can be any arbitrary string assigned to a user, but should not exceed 40 characters.

#delete_project_location_certificate_template(name, request_id: nil, fields: nil, quota_user: nil, options: nil) {|result, err| ... } ⇒ Google::Apis::PrivatecaV1::Operation

DeleteCertificateTemplate deletes a CertificateTemplate.

Parameters:

  • name (String)

    Required. The resource name for this CertificateTemplate in the format projects/*/locations/*/certificateTemplates/*.

  • options (Google::Apis::RequestOptions) (defaults to: nil)

    Request-specific options

Yields:

  • (result, err)

    Result & error if block supplied

Yield Parameters:

Returns:

Raises:

  • options_requested_policy_version (Fixnum) (defaults to: nil)

    Optional. The maximum policy version that will be used to format the policy. Valid values are 0, 1, and 3. Requests specifying an invalid value will be rejected. Requests for policies with any conditional role bindings must specify version 3. Policies with no conditional role bindings may specify any valid value or leave the field unset. The policy in the response might use the policy version that you specified, or it might use a lower policy version. For example, if you specify version 3, but the policy has no conditional role bindings, the response uses version 1. #get_project_location_ca_pool_iam_policy(resource, options_requested_policy_version: nil, fields: nil, quota_user: nil, options: nil) {|result, err| ... } ⇒ Google::Apis::PrivatecaV1::Policy

Gets the access control policy for a resource. Returns an empty policy if the resource exists and does not have a policy set.

Parameters:

  • resource (String)

    REQUIRED: The resource for which the policy is being requested. See Resource names for the appropriate value for this field.

  • options_requested_policy_version (Fixnum) (defaults to: nil)

Requests for policies with any conditional role bindings must specify version 3. Policies with no conditional role bindings may specify any valid value or leave the field unset. The policy in the response might use the policy version that you specified, or it might use a lower policy version. For example, if you specify version 3, but the policy has no conditional role bindings, the response uses version 1. To learn which resources support conditions in their IAM policies, see the IAM documentation.

Yields:

  • (result, err)

    Result & error if block supplied

Yield Parameters:

Returns:

Raises:

  • (Google::Apis::ServerError)

Lists information about the supported locations for this service. This method can be called in two ways: * List all public locations: Use the path GET / v1/locations. * List project-visible locations: Use the path GET /v1/ projects/project_id/locations. This may include public locations as well as private or other locations specifically visible to the project.

Parameters:

  • name (String)

    The resource that owns the locations collection, if applicable.

  • extra_location_types (Array<String>, String) (defaults to: nil)

    Optional. Do not use this field. It is unsupported and is ignored unless explicitly documented otherwise. This is primarily for internal usage.

  • filter (String) (defaults to: nil)

    A filter to narrow down results to a preferred subset. The filtering language accepts strings like "displayName=tokyo", and is documented in more detail in AIP-160.

  • page_size (Fixnum) (defaults to: nil)

    The maximum number of results to return. If not set, the service selects a default.

  • page_token (String) (defaults to: nil)

    A page token received from the next_page_token field in the response. Send that page token to receive the subsequent page.

  • options (Google::Apis::RequestOptions) (defaults to: nil)

    Request-specific options

Yields:

  • (result, err)

    Result & error if block supplied

Yield Parameters:

Update a CaPool.

Parameters:

  • name (String)

    Identifier. The resource name for this CaPool in the format projects/*/ locations/*/caPools/*.

  • ca_pool_object (Google::Apis::PrivatecaV1::CaPool) (defaults to: nil)
